The campus has been developed in natural surroundings on 30 acres of land from the hustle and bustle of the city with a thick green belt of hundreds of Neem, Kadam and Molisiri trees. Bon Maharaj Institute of Management and Technology (B.I.M.T.) is certainly a tribute to Late Saint Swami Bhakti Hridaya Bon Maharaj ( D.Litt, I. Ph.D., D.D., D.D., D.Theos. & D.A.E.H.) the light that merged in divinity on the 7th of July 1982. His orations on education, philosophy and religion enamoured and kept spellbound the people of all walks of life. B.I.M.T. keeps his loving memory constant. His dauntless nature, perseverance, endurance and courage are everlasting inspiration to all educationists, philosophers and theosophists. He shone as a great philanthropist of world renown.
